Teresa Ann Mize, 63, of Stanton, passed away at home on Wednesday, March 10, surrounded by her family. Ms. Teresa was a beloved school bus driver with the Tipton County Board of Education for 29 years. When she wasn’t out on her route, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, or in her garden tending to a beautiful variety of flowers and plants. Ms. Teresa is survived by her husband, Henry Mize, Jr; three children, Josh (Jennifer) Mize, Brandi (Brad) McAnulty, and Brittany (Josh Jones) McDaniel; six grandchildren, Ally (Ty Flanagan) Mize, Chelsea (Dylan Blalack) Mize, Ryan Mize, Ellie McAnulty, Maddie McAnulty, and Cooper Powell; one great-grandchild, Lane Flanagan; three siblings, Ricky (Peggy) Slough, Bubba Slough, and Marilyn Slough. She was preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Slough; her father and mother, Charles William Slough and Virginia Bradshaw Maxey, and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Henry and Jean Mize, Sr. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 14 at the Covington Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Charleston Cemetery in Stanton. The family will receive friends from 12:00p.m. until 2:00p.m. at the funeral home.
