Liz Mason

Adela Elizabeth “Liz” Mason, age 66, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2024. She worked as a packaging engineer for Stryker Corporation in Arlington, and had even traveled to Germany and Switzerland during her employment with them. A member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, she loved participating in VBS and helping with crafts. She also loved a good book, and enjoyed sitting on her new porch, lost in her reading. Recently, she had taken up riding around the farm with her husband, checking on the cows. 

Mrs. Liz is survived by her husband of 26 years, Bruce Mason; her son, Jacob Mason; close family friend, Jessica Beene; her brother and sister-in-law, Dan and Rosemary Jacobs; her sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Mark Miles; her sister and brother-in-law, Carlene and Don Dear, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Jacobs; her mother and stepfather, Vernice and Paul Olsen, and her brother, Johnny Jacobs.

Funeral services for Mrs. Liz will be held on Thursday, November 21st at 2 p.m. at Covington Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in Covington. Visitation for friends and family will be held from 12 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
