Helen Louise Turner Lindsey, age 96, of Covington, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2023. She was a homemaker and a long-time member of Liberty Baptist Church. Ms. Helen enjoyed crafting and going shopping in her spare time. She worked many crochet and cross-stitching patterns and became somewhat of a regular at the Wal-Mart over the years.
To cherish her memory, she leaves her son and daughter-in-law, Rickey and Nan Lindsey; her daughter, Brenda Smith; her daughter-in-law, Dianne Lindsey; seven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; her Liberty Baptist Church family, her neighbors, and her friend Elaine Primo, who has been wonderful company and such a blessing to Ms. Helen in her later years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William Oscar and Fannie Elizabeth Sutton Turner; her husband, R. B. Lindsey, Jr.; two sons, Bobby Lindsey and Kenneth Lindsey; her grandson, Mark Lindsey, and many friends.
A graveside service will be held at 11a.m. on Saturday, October 21st at R. H. Munford Cemetery in Covington. Brother Brandon Lindsey will officiate the services.
