Gaylon Mallard, 63, of Covington, passed away on Tuesday, October 3. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, October 9 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Mallard was a self employed working in construction. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Mallard; four sons, Aaron Mallard of Corinth, MS, Deneal Delashmit of Covington, Corey Mallard of Washington State and Jason Mallard of Covington; one daughter, Stacey Mallard of Covington; his mother, Ruby Austill Franklin of Covington; one sister, Lisa Fleming; 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
