Evelyn Laxton

Evelyn Laxton, 81, of Munford, passed away on Monday, September 9.  She was a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, Mike (Judy) Laxton of Munford and Mark (Jimmie Lee) Laxton of Brighton; four grandchildren, Sara Harden, Mathew Laxton, J. B. Laxton and Kevin Laxton; five great grandchildren, Emma Israel, Mar'lee Harden, Ry'Lynn Harden, Caleigh "CJ" Laxton and Jon Gray Laxton; two sisters, Beverly Crowe and Deborah Ramsey and two brothers, Barry Sigler and Larry Sigler.  She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Alice Scott Sigler; five sisters, Helen Scott, Alice Massengill, Pat Belk, Martha Jo Archer and JoAnn Collins and one brother, Bobby Sigler.  

Evelyn loved her family dearly and often gave of herself.  For 13 years she lived with her aunt and uncle, Annie and Tom Leslie.  After Tom's passing, Evelyn became the primary caregiver for her Aunt Annie.  

Cremation services are under the direction of Covington Funeral Home and no services are planned at this time.
