Edward "Eddie" Cooper, 71, of Covington, passed away on Wednesday, October 30 at his home.
Eddie was the owner/operator of Cooper's Body Shop and Cooper's Auto Sales. He loved restoring cars and the Atlanta Braves baseball team.
He is survived by his daughter, Bonnie Cooper Harmon of Paragould, AR; one grandson, Brandon King of Covington; five great grandsons, Adrian King and Jaylen King, both of Covington and Keon Lee McGregor, Aiden Parker McGregor and Ryley Monroe McGregor, all of Paragould, AR; two great granddaughters, Alaina King and Stormy Lynn King, both of Millington; one great-great granddaughter, Everleigh Michelle McGregor; two sisters, Wanda Garrison of Covington and Evelyn Berry of Delaware, AR; one brother, Norman Lyle Cooper of Covington and his companion, Dora Currington of Covington. He was preceded in death by his parents, Corble Lee and Doris Pauline Cooper; his wife, Rubbie Mae Cooper; one granddaughter, Valerie Michelle King and one great grandson, Mason Wade King. He also leaves his beloved dog and best friend, Bailey Cooper.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 2 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, November 1 at the funeral home.
