Carla Ann Joyner

Carla Ann Archer Joyner passed away on Friday, September 20, 2024, at St. Francis Hospital – Bartlett at the age of 54. A loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Carla Ann had a contagious smile and a selflessness about her that she shared with everyone she met. She worked for Medegen Medical Products in Gallaway for the last 10+ years, and in her spare time she enjoyed decorating and letting her creative spirit shine with her many crafting projects. 

To cherish her memory, she leaves her beloved husband, Timothy “T.J.” Joyner; her children, Jared Joyner, Michael Gray, Michael Joyner, and Brittney Joyner; her grandchildren, J. D. Douglas, Olivia Douglas, Aidan Joyner, and Asher Joyner, and her brother, Clint Archer.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Ann Stewart Archer; her father and stepmother, Farris C. and Dorothy Beasley Archer, and her brother, Farris “Butch” Archer, II.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, September 23rd in the chapel of Covington Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. Reverend Dustin Kitchens will officiate the service. The family will receive friends beginning one hour prior to service time in the chapel.
