Bobby Joe Cothran

Bobby Cothran, 54, of Brighton, passed away on Thursday, December 14 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was a farmer and a graduate of Covington High School.  Bobby was an avid outdoorsman – he loved to hunt, fish, ride his four-wheeler and just be outside.  He was a family man who loved to cook, grill and raise a garden. 

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Loretta Gray Cothran; two sons, Robert Henry (Kayla) Cothran of Brighton and Daulton Gray Cothran of Memphis; his father, Robert Lee Cothran, Jr. of Burlison and one sister, Lisa Cothran Shockley of Tennessee Ridge, TN.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Maudine Cothran.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 23 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel.  The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
